How Devon Home Care started
The service that was to become Devon Home Care was started more than twenty years ago by husband and wife team, Trevor and Shirley. They wanted to establish a company in Devon that provided a better, more personal service that met the needs of those who not only needed care in their own homes, but also wanted to feel part of deciding how and when – and by whom – that care should be provided. Sadly, Shirley died in August 2020.
Trevor however remains fully engaged as the company’s Chairman and Managing Director. Coming from an extensive marketing and management career working in both the public and private sectors, and for three major charities, Trevor has seen many changes in the provision of home care services and has been at the forefront of representing the industry in the past as a chairman of the Devon Independent Care Providers Association.
Devon Home Care has more than 20 years of experience in serving Devon and is committed to providing the very best in private home care services. With our team of trained and registered carers we are amongst the most experienced and capable home care providers in Devon.
We regularly hold training and discussion meetings with all our staff and are constantly reviewing our policies and procedures to make sure we can offer first class home care services.
